About JacksOrBetter

JacksOrBetter for Palm OS is a simple video poker simulator for PDAs. JacksOrBetter is free software, distributed under the terms of the GNU General Public License.

The latest version is 1.2, released 11 November 2000. This version fixes a couple of bugs in 1.1, and adds a Statistics window that keeps track of the numbers of hands and games that you've played.

JacksOrBetter was developed on a Handspring Visor Deluxe, using the Quartus Forth and OnBoard RsrcEdit development tools.

Version 1.0 of this program was released on Sept. 24, 2000 with the name "VideoPoker". This program is unrelated to the VideoPoker program published by Rose Software. The author apologizes for the confusion.

Downloads

The "Binary Only" packages contain only the installable .prc file and some documentation. The "Full" packages contain the .prc file and documentation, and the source code. Most users will want the "Binary Only" package.
